The Monaro has been to Monkfish Performance for a new tune by Paul Spinks of Wortec. The previous tune exhibited strange misfires and hesitations, as well as check engine lights which were not resolved to my satisfaction.
The car is now running like a dream. I've also junked the K&N induction kit and gone back to the standard airbox (with 2nd hole mod) and MAF pipe. During the visit to Monkfish the car was suffering from high IAT's, and the standard airbox is as good as anything at keeping those temperatures down.
I've also replaced all the Vauxhall badges on the Monaro with Holden badges. The dashboard is now the only part that shouts Vauxhall.

Visited WRC Technologies at Silverstone today for a tune and wheel alignment.
All the dyno runs were done with 95 RON fuel. My aim was primarily to tune the car to run smoothly with the mods it has, and of course it's also fun to see how much power it could make.
The current mods are DiFilippo headers and cats, SLP Loudmouth II catback, and K&N CAI.
The best figures achieved were 223.7KW (299.86HP) at the rear wheels. This was up from 214KW (286.86HP) at the rear wheels as a base with these mods. The Dyno Dynamics dyno calculated these figures equated to 371.7 engine HP after, and 356.3 engine HP before the tune.

If you need help fitting headers to your Monaro, check out this post over on the Australian LS1 and Holden Forums. Perhaps we wouldn't have been up 'til 1.00am if I'd read this first.
